Advancing Sewing as an Art and Life Skill

ASG is a national membership organization that welcomes sewing enthusiasts of all skill levels and from many different walks of life. Chapters, such as Gold Country are located in cities all across the country and members meet monthly to learn new sewing skills, network with others who share an interest in sewing and participate in community service sewing projects. Membership in the Guild gives you an opportunity to experience your love of any type of home sewing with others who share your interest. Members can take advantage of:

Welcome to the Gold Country Chapter of the American Sewing Guild (ASG). Our Chapter covers a very large geographic area in the Northern Sierra Nevada mountains of California and Nevada where gold was discovered in 1849. Please take a look around our website to see our activities within the many smaller, interest or locale oriented "Neighborhood Groups" and our Chapter-wide events.
